A Review on Prevention, Diagnosis, Treatment and Rehabilitation of Tuberculosis

Tuberculosis (TB), known as the White Plague is of great significance to humanity for magnitude morbidity and mortality it has generated over centuries from very start human civilization. In this Review, we will describe history prevention (vaccination management TB infection), diagnosis, treatment, pulmonary rehabilitation post-treatment sequelae. The article leads reader through main discoveries which paved way modern approach care. Bacille Calmette-Guerin (BCG) vaccine diagnosis treatment infection are presented, together with that disease. Pivotal was in 1882 discovery by Robert Koch aetiological agent TB, his pioneering work culturing bacillus developing tuberculin. Also enormous importance was, 1895, X-rays Wilhelm Conrad Rontgen, € development imaging technologies.
